Lists are fun
I am indulging in the way lame "list of non-related things to blog about"... cuz I am feeling very incoherent and scattered!
1.) I finished Sleep, Pale Sister by Joanne Harris. It is very gothic and dreamy and feminist, full of drug use and sexual repression, despite the Victorian trappings. Sounds weird, especially if the only Harris you have read is Chocolat, but pretty enjoyable. My biggest complaint was that it was told in the first-person for three different characters, which just gives me a headache.
2.) Er... knitting content? Um... none of that happening lately. I think I am a bit burned out.
3.) Er... crocheting content? Um... wait! Yes! I have finished two more thread snowflakes! Hurray for me! (And don't ask to see pics, because that would be asking too much...)
4.) I am still reading all of your blogs. Every day. I am just not commenting much lately. But I still love and appreciate each and every one of you. Keep it up!
5.) My husband and I don't watch tv (no cable and we don't get the local stations) so we are so behind on this... but we just rented the first season of Lost. I adore it. So addicted. And honestly. Sawyer? Hot.
6.) Jack is, too. ;-)
7.) My list is rapidly deteriorating into something a 14-year-old would write.
8.) I think I had best get myself off to bed.

Had to chuckle at item #7. :o) I'm looking forward to seeing those snowflakes!
Mmmm... the boys of "Lost." Sigh. I have a big ol' crush on both Jack and Sawyer. I'm grumpy that we just finished the 2nd season on DVD. Right as the 3rd season began on TV (which we don't have). And now we will be without "Lost" for another 10 months or so.
